Why does hoya call woohyun hyung

He rubbed his eyes lazily with his back straightened against the chair as he searched for a bottle of water he remembered he put under the bedside desk. The cold water went down his throat, and he felt better. Then he closed his eyes for a moment, head tilted backward and mouth parted a little, trying to erase everything, just everything that was bugging him out of his mind.

The guilt, the longing, the curiosity. A big sigh escaped his lips and he gave up, staring at the still Sunggyu instead.

I need you. I just.. No, he should pity himself for turning things to worse, for letting something to leave him before he could do anything. Then he felt something peculiar under his palm. He waited for a moment, before that one feeling came again. Was that pain? What was happening? He grew panic, worries attacked him.

Sunggyu hyung!! Sungyeol ah! Come here now. Please, quick! That came from Sunggyu. Echoing in his mind like a mantra that refused to go away. And Hoya forgot everything that has been worrying him. Just sleep. You look like a zombie now. He then continued to stare attentively at the sleeping Sunggyu in front of him. Yes, sleeping. After the long wait, he felt like the happiest man on earth to have Sunggyu muttering his name first as soon as he came conscious.

Things were a bit chaotic with the overly excited Sungyeol that morning shrieking in happiness when he found out what had happened, and tried to ask lots of questions to Sunggyu but the head nurse and the doctor said to put him to sleep for a moment, since he needed some rest. There are better thing to do rather than sleeping.

Screw the doctors who wanted to give him some more rest. Sunggyu hyung wanted to wake up, he should wake up by now. Sunggyu hyung.. The one he missed the most. Everything about Sunggyu was magic. Hoya lowered his head down, and let Sunggyu whispered into his ears. Just under a tree in front of a small lake where only few people were present, enjoying the evening view.

But it was enough for Hoya and Sunggyu, since what matter the most was that they got to be outside together, after the long wait. Hoya just chuckled. I heard that tall guy said something like that. Maybe Sunggyu understood that, because later Hoya felt soft fingers tracing his jawline, before they fell loosely on his chest. And there was nothing more that Hoya loved to hear other than a hungry Sunggyu calling him Howonnie sweetly like that.

It was a very beautifully cute scene of Sunggyu munching on his favourite fried rice, to see those cheeks filled with content as Sunggyu shoved in spoons of rice into his mouth. As expected, Sunggyu finished his food faster than Hoya did, and he was already drinking the water while Hoya still had half of his food in the food container.

Stop staring, and eat. He took a spoonful of the fried rice, and pointed it towards Hoya. It tasted wonderful, Sunggyu did his magic again. It took few seconds before Hoya drew his face closer and later he felt the soft breathing of Sunggyu brushing onto his lips, making him to part his lips a little, spontaneously. But it took like forever before Sunggyu moved forward and later their lips met, a soft kiss was shared between the two.

Every single emotion was coming out of them as they kissed, passionately, ignoring the fried rice that was long forgotten and had turned cold, ignoring the people around them who might see them.

They chatted about stuff, hands intertwined as both leaning into each other with their backs rested on the bark of the shady tree behind them. The sun were setting, so everything was in gold-like colour, the sky was tinted in such colour so beautifully that both of them were stunned by the view for a moment.

He sighed out. I mean it. You were about to forget me already. However, the word turned him guilty but for a different reason. He tried to contain it, but something in his mind urged him to reveal it. The surrounding was getting darker as the sun was disappearing, setting down and allowing the night to take place.

Everything turned gloomy just like how their conversation was like reaching the death, unlike how when they started to chat before that. Without even looking at the person next to him, Hoya breathed out a reply. I was studying at the same time, so I couldn't focus on the members. I honestly don't take note of those things at all. But L is respectful which is why despite the fact that he has a sharp tongue, he doesn't openly use it as Sunggyu and Hoya do , he wouldn't call him anything he didn't get permission for, so I'm pretty sure it's okay.

The MyungStal badge is taking 84, years by the way, goddamn, hurry the hell up Award staff. I think in the past it would make sense when others say they are awkward, but there was a bond there. They just didn't have as many moments on screen. It's not every day that Hoya initiates skinship, and it seems it's mostly reserved for the two youngest.

I feel like L is the one who is close to all the members and it's mostly because I believe he's the baby of the group despite not being the actual maknae. Oh, HoJong is by far the most genuine and with the tighter emotional bond, Sungjong goes to Hoya with his problems, trusts him, and looks up to him. You don't get that with any other member.

Don't get why MyungJong is more popular in any way whatsoever to be honest. If you are wondering about that, one of the potential reasons is due to the fact Myungsoo misses the cutoff date for school enrollment by 3 days or so for some schools, a small enough number that he could have gotten waved for school and could have been placed in a higher grade than what he normally would have been.

In Korea, if you're born within January to March 3 or so, you'd be able to be placed in a higher grade than your other same year-liner friends, which would easily place him with the other liners. And due to being in the same year at school, despite being a year younger, you can treat those that are within your grade level as same age friends.

This could easily explain why Hoya calls Woohyun hyung despite the month difference is due to similar reasons as Woohyun would have made the cutoff date for school, thus allowing him to be in a higher grade, making him same age friends with liners. That and the fact that Woohyun was supposedly an older trainee compared to Hoya and due to Hoya thinking he was older, the 'hyung' stuck despite Hoya later finding out his age.

However, as much as this explanation makes sense and could easily apply to some people This probably applies way more to Woohyun than Myungsoo to be honest, but it's a decent enough theory that it could still be used in a sense , it's more than likely that Myungsoo doesn't call Hoya hyung because Myungsoo is close enough to him that he doesn't have to, but despite not calling him hyung, Hoya still treats Myungsoo a bit like a dongsaeng and Myungsoo still treats Hoya like a hyung at times without having to call him that, even if he mentions that they are pretty much same age friends.

If anything, Myungsoo claiming they're same age friends and not calling Hoya hyung should obviously tell people that they are close and more often than not, not awkward as one may think due to not having many interactions in front of the camera together.

Back in I could see, but there are people that still think they are awkward even today, which is obviously not the case. I could understand back in their debut days, but now, it just doesn't make sense, especially when the moments that they do have on screen together show how close the two actually are.

HoJong is glorious and when you basically have Sungjong as Hoya's number one interest and the two being such a good friends, it's kind of hard to understand why they aren't more popular than they are. I mean, you have Hoya waxing poetry about how sexy Sungjong is and how he'd probably be over the moon if Infinite-S ever happened Like that should tip everyone off that's a shipper that HoJong is the real deal and should not be ignored how it is.

MyungJong is cute and all, but there is just something about HoJong that is much different than Sungjong's other relationships with the group. I can understand why some like MyungJong, but it would be strange as hell if Myungsoo didn't treat Sungjong like the dongsaeng that he is, especially since Myungsoo does treat age hierarchy seriously and with him having a younger brother, it would be impossible for Myungsoo to treat him any differently to be honest.

But really, there is so much HoJong that it's not even funny and I swear, some of the shit that comes out of Hoya's mouth when it comes to Sungjong Like I don't even know how MyungJong shippers ignore what he says and their relationship and just ships MyungJong like they do. Like I can understand liking MyungJong, but there are way too many MyungJong shippers that have no idea how strong HoJong's bond is or they'll just ignore all the great HoJong moments because they don't want to see Sungjong or Myungsoo being shipped with anyone else.

Thankyou, your monkey is really cute. Based on the Lunar calendar, Woohyun was actually born in the year of the horse and not the year of the ram like Hoya and Sungyeol, so it actually makes sense for Hoya and Sungyeol to call him hyung.

Most likely reason for Myungsoo not calling Hoya hyung is that they're born within one year of each other anyway and Hoya doesn't mind that much. Sungjong is the only member that actually calls everyone older than him hyung, but granted he's at least 1. Hojong's relationship is more like a hyung-dongsaeng relationship, Myungjong to me is like pet owner-pet Sungjong actually acts like the more mature of the two when you see them interacting because most of the time it's Myungsoo doing weird things like chewing on Sungjong's hoodie while Sungjong just ignores his dumbness You need to be a member in order to leave a comment.

It feels like there's space for one more. Space for someone else who can stand And me. Carefully self-conscious and sudden enough that it almost throws Howon off the trail, away from the baring of weakness just seconds before. I don't know if anyone has ever found out, though. I can be hell to live with. He can't believe where this is going. We'll have to share a room but I already have an extra bed so that part works out.

And I tend to have nightmares, okay? And there's no space for you to dance-" Howon cuts him off by pressing a finger against Sunggyu's lips. They could be baring souls or they could be looking at new beginnings and it wouldn't matter; he can always trust Sunggyu to be Sunggyu.

Despite the lack of space. Or the nightmares. And maybe we can turn a bedroom into a studio? Since we'll be so used to rooming together by then anyway. With a basement. But that's so far into the future. With a front lawn, even. And I'd love to have a dog. At them. At the image of Howon with a husky in his arms. At the thought that Howon has already seen him when he was delirious with the flu, and he's still here so maybe he'll still be around when Sunggyu gets really sick again and needs somebody to look after him.

At this moment when he's learning that maybe baring who he is isn't so bad, weaknesses and all, if the one looking at him is someone he can trust. Howon, Sunggyu thinks, is so handsome when he's happy. Like right now. Maybe forever. Maybe Sunggyu could even be part of it. That would be nice. The first time they met, Woohyun had been two sessions into a pilates course when Sunggyu walked into the library smelling of burnt sugar and assorted mochi.

Woohyun raised an eyebrow to distract himself from the sudden rumbling of his stomach. He was feeling the first signs of sugar withdrawal — heck, junk food withdrawal and he was ready to gnaw on the first thing the smelled even remotely unhealthy. Thinking back on it, he supposed it might have been a sign. Or his brain may have been reeling at the lack of fuel and fixated on the first locatable source in days, even if it was this upperclassman in tragic animal-print clothes and jeans that had seen better days.

Woohyun wasn't sure how he could tell — call it a hunch. Woohyun had looked him up and down then, his eyes carefully searching for suspicious lumps along Sunggyu's clothes that could be contraband in hiding. Nobody ever claimed to bring anything in, but that can't be true because Woohyun always finds candy wrappers in the trash when he's closing the building. That had been followed by Sunggyu borrowing one book a day, and Woohyun had tried to figure out which classes this mysterious Kim Sunggyu was taking, but the book choices were too random and sometimes too useless.

Once, when Sunggyu was distracted by a classmate, Woohyun snuck a coupon for some free jasmine milk tea from the local student combine into the front page of How to Achieve Transcendence in an Amphibian Literary Environment. Randomness: Sample D. When returned a week later, the coupon was still there. So he didn't read the books , Woohyun thought. Or maybe he just didn't like milk tea? Which was followed by Why am I even paying attention? It definitely wasn't for his good looks "Hamster-nim", Sungyeol had called him, which was three degrees of respect higher than Myungsoo's "Whatshisface", and for a moment Woohyun felt prouder than ever of his choice of friends.

Maybe it was with how Sunggyu carried himself with a form of quiet dignity that had nothing to do with his fascinating preference for animal-print anything. Maybe it was how Sunggyu seemed tired all the time, but fine, whatever, he still carried on like being tired was beneath him.

Woohyun, rejected thrice from his idol dreams and working hard not to drown in his inadequacy, had found Sunggyu's self-assurance endearing. It might be nice, Woohyun had thought, to learn a thing or two. The circumstance that changed I want to be like him to I want to like him was when — in a moment filled with telling himself that he wasn't technically stalking Sunggyu — he pulled up the call numbers of all the books Sunggyu recently borrowed and realized that the first digits spelled out a phone number clear as day.

Sender: Kim Sunggyu I was counting on it. After a week of messages that steadily grew more personal, Sunggyu gave him an address in Hongdae without any explanation and Woohyun had gone anyway, dragging Myungsoo and Sungyeol with him. What they found was a small gathering of kids around their age screeching along to a rock song lead by none other than- "Hey, isn't that Hamster-nim?

Myungsoo just quietly snapped a picture. They went out for dinner after the show. And in between Sunggyu telling customer horror stories from the milk tea shop "So that's why you didn't take the coupon," Woohyun exclaimed proudly and humoring Sungyeol on the finer points of the decline of entertainment "Before you satisfy the audience, you have to satisfy the executives," Sungyeol had scoffed , Woohyun realized that I want to like him had somehow turned into I want him.

And on their way back to their homes, at the corner where Sunggyu had to turn right and they had to turn left, Sunggyu had said, "It's not that I don't like books," and Woohyun wondered why Sunggyu brought up something so random just before saying goodnight, "but I'm kind of getting tired of hanging out in the library just to see you.

And he had. A week later, Sungyeol was already sick of Woohyun talking about nobody else all the time while Myungsoo endured it all with a quiet, knowing smile.

A month after that, Sunggyu was no longer living alone. And no. I'll be there. Go to sleep, Sunggyu. I'll wait for you.

It's like he's so completely, absolutely sure that those details are peripheral. They are WooGyu as Sungyeol branded them during a night of too much soju and that's all he needs to know. One hour of sitting on his bench at the park all alone at night is enough for Woohyun to realize three things: that displays of confidence do not always mean strength, that Sunggyu has never been anyone less than Sunggyu whenever they're together, and that Woohyun really does not know how to handle pity.

It takes less than a minute for his mind to jump to another conclusion: Howon gets things done while Woohyun just waits for opportunities. It takes less than a second for one final thought to crystalize from everything else: compatibility does not necessarily mean mutual growth.

He arrives at the flat to Sunggyu passed out on the couch with his guitar still in his arms. He sighs, carefully puts the guitar away, and curls up on the couch with his head on Sunggyu's lap.

He wakes up in his bed and thinks, "What am I going to do with you? Howon is alarmed. Woohyun always keeps the door locked. Not that he needs to. The apartment is too small for anyone to get lost in. He's one step past the door and already he can see into the kitchen. The bathroom light is out. Are you guys home? The bedroom door is closed. It's the one place he's never been inside of, out of respect for Woohyun's and Sunggyu's privacy. But if someone has been inside and left the door unlocked And then there was Woohyun's message from last night—what did he mean, anyway?

Where was he going? There's a soft ruffle from inside, heavy thumps as feet hit the floor hard, and the door opens to show Sunggyu, his eyes blinking blearily. Howon catches a faint waft of stale air from inside, the unmistakable smell of ill health.

What are you doing here? Something homemade would definitely be better-" "Who? Not feeling so great right now. Sunggyu is too hot everywhere, his skin too sticky with dried sweat to be anything but dire. Howon half-carries him back to his bed and gently helps him lie back down. There's a sprig of pink flowers on Sunggyu's shirt. Howon plucks it off and throws it in the trash bin beside Sunggyu's plastic dresser. That's when he notices that the bedroom looks There's clutter all over the place, sure, because Sunggyu's a bit of a hoarder, but Woohyun usually has snacks and books hidden everywhere, even under the couch and it makes sense that he'll stash them here as well.

But there's nothing here that could be Woohyun's, no clue that it's not just Sunggyu who lives here. But it makes sense, since Woohyun did say It definitely looks slept on. I don't want you to catch this. Sunggyu is very sick. It's okay for him to lose it every once in a while.

He takes deep breaths and calms the building panic in his head that Sunggyu is, again, very sick. The guy you've been living with for years. I've been living alone since I got this apartment. Didn't I ask you to move in twice? You've been so solidly in love with Woohyun that you never even saw me.

I wanted to give you everything. But it turns out you already had it. Now is really not the time to think these thoughts, Howon scolds himself. Sunggyu is sick. And if Woohyun isn't around to help then it's up to Howon to help him through. I was confused. You've been living alone all this time. Someone to press a cold towel against his head. Or peel off his shirt when it's slick with sweat. Or maybe just get him some soup. Howon nods gamely. That's a start. Although, if he doesn't remember Woohyun It's only when he's wiping Sunggyu's arms clean with a wet towel does he untie the leather string around Sunggyu's neck.

And it was amazing. Oh and I remember a bit of what they were talking about during the Instagram section. The question was about what they do after they wake up. Myungsoo checks to see if his eyelids are doubled or not lol. Tbh, it seemed like the first day was a bit like a rehearsal. They changed a lot for the second day. Keep reading for more second day shenanigans! Hi everyone!

Anyway, I was able to go to the first day of Begin Again and it was so nice to see the boys again. Anyway, the merchandise for the fan meet are all pretty nice and this time they even had a table with all the goods on it so you can look at it or touch them before you buy it. The only bad thing about the goods is that they came in these huge boxes that were impossible to carry around.

Fast fowarding to inside the venue. Woollim really seemed to try to change things up this time. Instead of mvs playing before the start, it was the concert logo in English and Korean flashing back and forth with title songs playing in the background. Tbh I kinda missed the mvs. Maybe it was because it was the first day after so long, but no one was singing or getting into the music. I think the mvs helped people concentrate on something instead of their phones. At this moment, we are not looking to expand!

Maybe later down the line we might need some extra help! Thank you for the interest! Anonymous asked: hello! Anonymous asked: Yasss! You're back! Loved your fanacc as always.

I'm so happy that the boys are back after sooo long. Anyways, I was wondering what's your thoughts on the boys continuing as a six member group? Anonymous asked: I hope you are both doing well. I am so psyched for the comeback, despite everything. Do you have any separate solo plans next year? Have you ever learned acting? Does that hyung still promote? I want to ask a phrase.
